Great spot! 16 of us are in town for a wedding. We met here for dinner a couple of nights beforehand. The food was very good, as was the service. The food all came out together and it was all hot.
Had lunch with my mom had a Huckleberry jalapeno margarita very good. We both had the scotty's favorite hottie the burger was very good the server very good very helpful. Definitely will be back
Let me preface with the fact that my waiter Marcus H was phenomenal. Unfortunately, he had to do multiple job roles which I can’t imagine how difficult that was. (Bartender and waiter) Absolutely adored his Mighty Ducks sweater! Very prompt with service and engaging. He ran the show today, that’s for sure. I’m guessing he’s a manager or needs a serious pay raise. The waiter with the beautiful long dreads in the Spokane shirt served the larger group next to us and he was definitely spot on from what I could see. Great job! I hate to leave anything negative however, the food was sub-par at best. Kids grilled cheese: super dry bread, cheese needed to melt a little longer. Gator tots were very over fried. Fish and chips: The batter was mushy and lacked flavor. Needed salt. The cod inside was dripping and watery. I’m not sure how it was prepared but the fish really needed to be patted down/dried off before frying - It would have made a huge difference. It’s very possible that it comes precooked and frozen which is completely out of the cooks hands. Fries were Perfectly cooked which I know came fresh from the cook Alps: burger needed seasoning and lacked flavor all around. Arrived medium well done. The fries were very over fried.. it was basically chips at that point. My margarita was very stiff (No complaints here!!! I needed that!! Thank you!!!) as mentioned earlier, my waiter was right on the ball as I finished to check if I would like another. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic and I think the choices of food were definitely right up my alley. This place has some serious potential! Just a few things to tweak in the long run. Honest review : 3.5/5
First time at this location. The food was great. Definitely be back. The only complaint was the wait time. We got there right at 11 and waited aprox. 40 minutes before our food came. I had the pea salad and the sweet potato fries. My husband had the fried chicken sandwich and my dad had the turkey melt.
Great sports bar on the Northside of Spokane. Conveniently located near Whitworth University and Mead High School this long time locals favorite boasts a great varied menu, a cozy interior filled with local and national sports memorabilia and many big screens for sports watching. The service is attentive and friendly and the meals are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Just an all around great spot and worth your business!
We dinned in. We liked the south hill location more but enjoyed this too. It’s got a nice kids menu and some good vegetarian options. We had a nice server and were in and out quickly. Overall a nice experience
I have been to Poole's a few times, but wanted to share that this is a great place to eat! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic! I haven't had to wait long for a table, as they are very quick to clear tables and prep them for new guests. I would recommend eating here if in the area.
Met up for brunch with my bf on Saturday. I got the chicken fried steak with a side of biscuits and gravy it was sooo good &5 Bloody Mary's and mimosas! I had enough leftovers to bring home to the hubby! Waitress and the staff were wonderful! My new go to place for breakfast!
